CHAPTER 2 — THE FALL OF A QUEEN

The next morning, the entire family gathered in the mansion.

Victoria entered the room wearing her usual confidence.

She expected Daniel to apologize.

Instead, he placed a folder on the table.

“What is this?” she asked.

Daniel looked at her coldly.

“Evidence.”

Victoria opened the folder.

Inside were reports, recordings, and messages.

The housekeeper had finally spoken.

She revealed every time Victoria had hurt Emma.

Every cruel word.
Every threat.
Every moment she tried to break her.

Victoria’s face turned pale.

“You betrayed me?” she shouted.

The housekeeper lowered her head.

“No, madam. I protected the truth.”

Daniel stood up.

“You used my name to control everyone in this house.”

Victoria’s eyes filled with anger.

“I gave you everything!”

Daniel shook his head.

“No. You took everything from everyone.”

He picked up his phone.

“One call was all it took.”

He contacted the board members.

“Freeze all personal accounts connected to my mother. Remove her authority from the company. Cancel her access to this property.”

Victoria stared at him in disbelief.

“You would destroy your own mother?”

Daniel answered quietly:

“I’m protecting my family.”

For the first time in her life, Victoria had no power.

No money.
No control.
No one to fear her.
