Iran’s President Sets Three Conditions to End Conflict with the U.S. and Israel

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has outlined three conditions that he says must be met in order to end the ongoing conflict involving Iran, the United States, and Israel. The demands include recognition of Iran’s legitimate rights, financial compensation for damages, and firm international guarantees that no future attacks will be carried out against the country.

In a post on the social media platform X on March 12, Pezeshkian said he had spoken with leaders from Russia and Pakistan, reaffirming Iran’s stated commitment to peace in the Middle East.

“The only way to end the current conflict—initiated by the United States and Israel—is to recognize Iran’s legitimate rights, provide compensation, and deliver strong international guarantees preventing future aggression against our nation,” Pezeshkian said.

It marks the first time the Iranian president has publicly presented specific conditions for ending the 12-day conflict between Iran and the U.S.–Israel alliance.
