Thirty minutes later, the hospital conference room became an impromptu investigation center.
Marcus sat silently.
Nathan remained beside him after surgery began.
Across the table sat Isabella and her attorney.
The footage began.
No sound.
Only crystal-clear video.
The first clip showed Khloe quietly standing near the table.
Pregnant.
Tired.
Barely moving.
Then Isabella entered.
No invitation.
No hesitation.
She blocked the exit.

And kicked Khloe directly in the side.
There was no accident.

No misunderstanding.

The video ended.
Nobody spoke.
Marcus finally broke the silence.

The second viewing was somehow worse.
Because now everyone knew exactly what they were watching.
Attempted murder.
Isabella's attorney quietly closed his briefcase.
"I'm withdrawing as counsel."
He stood.
