Chapter 2: The Truth Unveiled

As security guards rushed into the ballroom to pull Eleanor away, Noah screamed, refuse to let go. "No! Don't take my mommy again!"

This time, Eleanor didn't back down. Standing up, she shielded Noah behind her, her eyes blazing with a fierce maternal protective instinct. She looked directly at Victoria and then at Julian. "Four years ago, you framed me for stealing the family heirlooms so you could take my son and maintain your perfect public image," Eleanor said, her voice echoing clearly through the microphone near the catering cart. "I took the fall because you threatened to ruin my family. But I won't let you lie to my son anymore."

Murmurs erupted among the guests. Victoria stepped forward, her face twisted in rage. "She's lying! She's just a disgruntled maid trying to extort us! Security, get her out!"

But before the guards could touch Eleanor, an elderly man stepped out of the crowd. It was Arthur Vance, Julian's father and the patriarch of the family. He had been quietly investigating the sudden disappearance of the family heirlooms years ago, never truly believing Eleanor was guilty. Arthur pulled out a small digital tablet, playing an audio recording of Julian and Victoria discussing how they planted the jewelry in Eleanor's locker.

"The only liars here," Arthur said sternly, looking at his son with deep disappointment, "are you two."
