The fallout was immediate. The evidence provided by Arthur was handed over to the authorities that very night. Julian and Victoria’s desperate grasp for power and status came crashing down as they were escorted out of the ballroom in handcuffs, facing charges of conspiracy, framing, and perjury.
A few weeks later, the courtroom officially cleared Eleanor’s name. The custody of Noah was rightfully returned to her, backed by the support of Arthur, who wanted to make amends for his son's sins by ensuring Eleanor and Noah would never want for anything again.
On a bright, warm afternoon, Eleanor and Noah walked through a quiet public park, far away from the cold, judgmental eyes of high society. Noah was no longer wearing a stiff tuxedo; he wore a comfortable t-shirt and jeans, a bright, genuine smile on his face. He held a melting ice cream cone in one hand and tightly gripped Eleanor’s hand with the other.
