Pentagon Unveils Shocking Footage of Iranian Missile Strikes

Pentagon Releases First Videos of Strikes as Operation Epic Fury Expands

The U.S. Department of Defense has unveiled the first official footage and images related to American military strikes targeting Iran, as the ongoing confrontation enters its third day. The operation, referred to as Operation Epic Fury, has already led to the deaths of four U.S. service members, with more than a dozen others reported injured.

During a press briefing on Monday, U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth outlined the objectives of the campaign. Standing beside General Dan Caine, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Hegseth explained that the mission is focused on weakening Iran’s missile infrastructure and preventing the country from advancing toward nuclear weapons capability.

“Our objective is straightforward,” Hegseth told reporters. “We are working to eliminate Iranian missile systems, dismantle their production facilities, weaken their naval forces, and remove any infrastructure that could contribute to the development of nuclear weapons.”

Although the defense secretary did not provide a clear timeline for how long the operation may last, he emphasized that the United States does not intend to enter another prolonged conflict in the Middle East.

“This is not another Iraq-style war,” Hegseth said. “For too long, the United States was drawn into extended nation-building conflicts. This operation is designed to be precise, focused, and aimed specifically at eliminating the missile threat and preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons.”

Hegseth also confirmed that no U.S. ground troops are currently operating inside Iranian territory, though he noted that military planners continue to evaluate all available options as the situation evolves.

General Caine added that the Pentagon is still reviewing the overall impact of the strikes. According to him, commanders from United States Central Command will conduct a detailed battle damage assessment before determining the next stage of the operation.
